The five courts are now all playable after intensive power washing prior to the repainting. We are now waiting for improved weather conditions to allow the repaint and will communicate further when this operation will take place.
The three leaning floodlights on Court Three have now been straightened and all lights are fully operational.
The clubhouse is still awaiting work to begin but is open and has hot water running throughout the ground floor.
Members have been enjoying tennis when the weather allowed and social tennis and coaching has also taken place. The Winter League has resumed and a number of games have taken place and the current schedule allows for completion.
The Club is starting to feel like home again thanks to the incredible efforts of many people and this is very much appreciated by all at Castlegarth.
So for now let’s get the pray mats out and hope for a dryer spell so the repainting work can be carried out and all members can enjoy a successful summer season in homely surroundings.
