Court Update‏

Courts 1, 2 and 3 are now open for play

Thank you for your patience but Wetherby now has 5 courts available for play in the immediate term. The repainted Courts 1, 2 and 3 have not cured completely satisfactorily, however they can now be played on with the proviso that the Club has the option to redress any marks created by repainting at the end of the season by the supplier free of charge.

The courts look great and play well, so please enjoy them when you can. It is worth reminding all members that following rain spells, newly painted courts have the potential to be slippery underfoot and your normal sound judgement is required to ensure safe play.
Your Committee are in continued contact with the contractors and are clearly keen to minimise any potential problems with the repainting of Courts 4 + 5. There are no immediate plans however so we await an appropriate weather window to consider completing this element.
The Clubhouse drying is nearing completion. There will be further disruption as replastering and other remedial works are undertaken over the coming months, however we will subsequently have a fantastic facility to enjoy.
We will update you further as actions progress.
Regards
Stephen Jones
