With the sun shining , it really felt like summer had finally arrived this evening as the junior members at the club took part in tennis coaching followed by fun and games . Head coach Angela Crossley and assistant Bradley Triffitt organised proceedings on court and with plenty of parents attending it was great to see so many enjoying the social gathering.

Charlotte Todd was doing a fabulous job on the side lines directing operations and even found time to feed the baby and entertain the dog!

The older youngsters then gathered to compete in a series of double’s matches with various scoring options employed and up on the balcony there was some great views as the action unfolded.

The pizza’s and chips were greatly received as everyone tucked in after a successful time on court. Lovely to see the great camaraderie and friendship shown and let’s hope a few can progress to make an impact in adult tennis further down the line.
